About Us

From the heart of the South Shore, MA, brings you a unique and always changing culinary experience driven from a strong inspiration and appreciation of oysters. Our mission is to be your go-to event planner across the South Shore and work with clients to produce their dream event and exceed expectations.

Growing up in the South Shore, Maureen had the pleasure of working for a number of top restaurants. From Atlantica in Cohasset to the Winsor House in Duxbury and many more – love for restaurants began to flourish. She then took her background to expand her expertise while working at one of the top event planning firms; Rafanelli Events. With a well rounded background in food, events and hospitality, her goal was to one day start my own innovative culinary experience with a focus on events and oysters. Having lived in Duxbury, MA, the oyster capital of the world, she was surrounded the one thing she loved the most.

She furthered her interest and experience in oysters in 2020 by joining the team at Island Creek Oysters. Since then she has gained an immense amount of knowledge regarding oysters, their spawning process, farming process, and how to successfully pass on this knowledge to others with this interest.

Most recently, Maureen left her corporate profession in sales to focus on learning more about oysters, understanding the sustainability and nutritional importance of kelp and engaging with customers and restaurants through a program with Atlantic Sea Farms, receiving her graduate degree in food studies through Boston University, and furthermore bring her expertise into her business with event planning through Pippa and Poe.

We plan to grow our team in 2023 and continue to produce and execute successful events while providing a wealth of knowledge on oysters.
